The course aims at introducing the fundamental principles of the modelling for statics and dynamics analyses, as well as for stress analysis. Significance and importance of finite element methods in tech design. Fundamentals of finite element methods for small displacement linear elastic analysis (statics). Non-linear finite element method. Use and mastery of commercial FE software (Abaqus). Application of FE methods in modeling steady-state and transient field problems. Model development and output data analysis & interpretation.
